Super delicious! We got it with soba noodles. Definitely recommend this spot - no air conditioning but a nice cold beer helps keep cool
MoreManagement by husband and wife. It seems to be a carp fan.As a representative of the former Tokyo Olympics land hockey player, Oyade is a stick on the corner of the store. One piece of buckwheat noodles 1500 yen.My father makes it with the iron plate in front of my eyes.My aunt is unfriendly, but her hospice moves with a sense of selfishness. Hand towel is essential because early summer meals have sweat. The taste is good.Too crowded. Old and young men and women. It seems that people from Hiroshima gather very much.I want to visit again except summer.
MoreNow that you can't travel in Corona, you don't have to go to Hiroshima, so it's fine here!Stable deliciousness.1000 yen with soba. The store turns quickly. Most people will finish eating after 30 minutes. The key to taking seats is to stay away from the seats before baking. It's too hot near the grill. It's also refreshing after you've finished eating, drinking cold water while sipping your sweat near the bakery and saying foo-fu.When I passed in front of the store after 9 pm, it was refreshing to see the uncle of the store take a rest after work.
MoreNo english menu or pictures of the food...he just asked “okonomiyaki?” and thats it. If you want something extra or a different flavor, you have to lern japanese. Anyway, the okonomiyaki was good.
MoreReally good place to eat Okonomiyaki. Comfortable and very kind. They know a bit of English. I recommend it!
MoreI visited before 13 o'clock. Three people were lined up, but they immediately went to the counter seat. Because it is impeccable, I ordered it all by entry. You can choose buckwheat noodles. Most people seem to be choosing soba.Cabbage, meat etc. are made in handy from egg dough with iron plate in front of you.The inside of the store feels like a woman only, a regular person, an elderly couple and anyone feel free to enter from a salaried worker. In addition, clerks are also comfortable talking with customers, and it is a peaceful atmosphere. The finish is transferred from the iron plate to the dish to eat. I divided it by myself and got it slowly.Fabrics and ingredients, it is not easy to eat though it does not fit together freely. I did not have much sauce, so I was eating while adding the sauce on the counter.
MoreHiroshima-yaki that can be eaten in Tokyo. Atmosphere. Business hours changed after corona. Last order closes at 21:00 on weekdays at 20:30. The last order closes at 20:00 on Saturdays at 7:30 pm. It seems that the shop has become accustomed to this time and will not change it anymore. (Lol)
MoreGreat food in a family owned place
Our first and best okonomiyaki in Japan. Very friendly workers and good atmosphere. We had a nice night. Wishing to return!
MoreOishi! My wife decided that before she would let me wander around Akihabara that we should stop some where to have some okononomi. After walking farther and farther from my nerd heaven, we soon found Carp. We we're greeted in the most wonderful way and soon they began creating for my taste buds a taste experience I will soon to forget! Arigato for the wonderful food and brilliant service!
MoreFantastic food and service! the chef's were helpful and full of smiles. The food was so good my meal here became my most memorable meal of the week. Worth the 15 minute wait for a seat. I will be back.
MoreOkonomiyaki hiroshima style!!! They won't speak a word of english and no english menu at all, but they served us a delicious okonomiyaki (and lots of iced water) without to much trouble. If you want to choose the flavor learn some japanese xD
MoreOkonomiyaki is a classic Japanese dish. It is very tasty so if you haven't tried, go for it. Staf is very friendly and the shop have a good atmosphere
MoreThe best place to eat Hiroshima-style Okonomi-yaki in Tokyo.Don't forget Negi-nose and Soba-iri and Mochi topping.
MoreThe okanomiyaki was absolutely delicious, but the staff/experience was a bit off. I did not feel particularly comfortable. The proprietor had to ask "Okanomiyaki?" And that was the the extent of my ordering. I was the only foreigner there, I got the impression my chef wasn't a fan of mine. The whole experience made me very uncomfortable. But...the food was really good.
MoreThe best dining experience I've had in Japan!
Average in taste. Not too nice to foreigners :(
Best okonomiyaki we had in two weeks in Japan. Mostly local guests, prepare for the fact the place accepts cash only.
Moregreat owners and great food
Absolutely amazing! They managed to get our order despite communication barrier -- old granddaughter running the show was in a good friendly mood and tolerated our confused looks... Superb flavors, but a light dinner. We spent an amusing evening gawking at the chef's moves -- just that alone was worth the price of admission...
MoreTwo girls got the ladies size of oyster grill, green onion, Hiroshima yaki.Baked in front of me, I grew green from oyster grilling and grilled onions, grilled Hiroshima grill. I was comfortable at the timing.Of course, Okonomiyaki is delicious.I was watching oystersAnyway oyster grilling has 4 big oysters! It puts on cabbage and puts out.It is delicious! At lunch, the oyster butter set meal served at a certain tonkatsu shop was 2000 yen, but it is better than that! I will repeat immediately!
MoreThe okonomiyaki is great, but if you want certain ingredients be sure to specify right off the bat IN JAPANESE, or you will just get a basic one.
MoreTo anyone who craves for local authentic okonomiyaki, this is the place to go!!
Restaurant ran by a family, good Hiroshima style okonomi. Owner is former olympic National hockey team player from Tokyo Olympics
MoreVery delicious okonomiyaki, highly recommended.
10/10 for the food. This is as close as you're going to get in Tokyo for authentic Hiroshima style okonomiyaki. Be prepared for a queue to get a seat (no reservations). All seating is on stools and you'll be sitting at a counter. All in all a great experience. It will be hot as you'll be sitting in front of a hot plate. The beer will taste better for it.
MoreReally tasty!:)
In my opinion, it's best Hiroshima style okonokiyaki in East Tokyo. You take a seat in front of big plate, and they cook okonokiyaki there. In the summer time, it's pretty hot to eat because plate is so hot that you can not stay longer. I recommend to order all topping okonokiyaki.
MoreI was hesitant after reading some other reviews from foreigners saying they had a bad experience here, but these were unfounded. I had a great meal at this restaurant and was greeted with smiles and treated very kindly, even in spite of my very visible tattoos. It's true there's no English menu and tou can expect to simply be asked "okonomiyaki" because that's what this restaurant is famous for. The Japanese menu is visible from google if you take care to take the time to translate, but people have also uploaded the dishes so you could always point to them.I really recommend visiting, because this is great okonomiyaki and it's a good price. The seating is very limited but if you come on a weeknight alone or as a pair I think you will have no trouble getting a seat. If there is more than two of you I'd recommend visiting in the quiet periods.
MoreHiroshima where you can stop after work.Okonomiyaki, which has been coming back and forth regularly.Because my boss from Hiroshima wants to go hereI think there are many things that only Hiroshima people can understand. The aunt is the crisp Hiroshima dialectFrom the term Tokyo branchHiroshima's love is overflowing. The okonomiyaki at such a restaurant can be delicious.Today, I'm Soba and Udon Champon.Buckwheat noodles and udon noodles, each containing half of it.With sweet sauce of mumps and tender cabbage.Oh good. This is a new discovery.I thought that Hiroshima style would be soba, butUdon and okonomiyaki are really delicious.Relax with bottled beer and heal your tiredness after work.Oh. I did my best this week.It was the best dinner for such a reward. It was a feast!
Moreお好み焼きなら、🈁家族でしてるから、コンビネーション最高出し、もう長いですね。このお店は
MoreGood okonomyaki for decent price
I'm no okonomiyaki expert but that tasted terrific. It was a perfect place to go by my own and someone there helped me order. All you have to do is saying okonomiyaki and choose between udon or soba noodles. It looks like a family business and they were super nice. Not many smiles at the beginning but there are places I go in which I don't expect smiles.. just good food. But then also they treated me very good and we talked a little bit. Awesome place! Good to have a more local experience.
MoreA restaurant where you can eat Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki in Tokyo. It is conveniently located near Kanda Station. I went around 6pm on Tuesday evening, but it was full in less than 30 minutes. However, the customer's turn seemed to be relatively fast. The ratio of regulars seems to be quite high, and beginners may be a little confused when ordering, but everything seems to be delicious no matter what they ordered. The toppanyaki that other customers had ordered seemed particularly delicious. I felt at this restaurant that Okonomiyaki goes well with sake. Without being loud, I enjoyed the meal while talking slowly with my companion. However, since it is an all-seat counter, if you have three or more people, it may be difficult to talk unless you can get a corner seat.
MoreGreat food! Authentic experience... love the local feel!
Light, healthy very good Okonomiyaki with "do it like locals" touch. Take your stool at the grill-plate-counter, decide soba or half-soba, then meat, seafood or just egg and enjoy the preparation. No english is spoken but staff super open towards foreigners. Pricing is around 1000 yen. One remark - its a small place with huge grill plate - your cloths will get all the smells.
